SOPHIE BARFOD DYE

I am an Interior Designer and PhD Candidate based in Brisbane, Australia, with a deep commitment to advancing the role of interior design in fostering climate resilience and sustainable living. My research explores how interior design can support climate-resilient and regenerative homes. Using a transition design framework, I aim to engage with communities and stakeholders to create adaptable and sustainable practices, aiming to support a broader transition toward resilience in the face of environmental adversity.

Beyond my research, I’m a passionate designer and educator, supporting clients and emerging designers to engage with sustainability and foster resilient, community-centered design practices. I’d love to connect with others interested in sustainability, climate resilience, and innovative approaches to interior design in the built environment.
